Big H Pickleball with Hayden Patriquin

* The Context

Professional pickleball player Hayden Patriquin had something many founders hope for: an audience eager to learn from him.

But like many early-stage creator-led businesses, the idea came before the structure.

Hayden initially started a small Telegram group to connect with players and share insights, but the experience was fragmented. There was no central platform, no training curriculum, and no clear system for onboarding or retention.

The opportunity was to transform a promising idea into a fully structured training ecosystem.

* THE STRATEGY

The vision was to position the community not simply as a fan group, but as a high-level pickleball training center led by one of the sport’s rising professional players.

The strategy focused on building a platform that would deliver both elite insight and practical training resources.

Rather than relying on scattered content, the experience needed to feel structured, professional, and scalable.

* What We Built

Sophisticated Mouse developed the complete infrastructure for Hayden’s membership community.

This included:

• brand positioning and messaging
• website strategy and development
• Skool community architecture
• onboarding and retention systems
• training curriculum and classroom structure
• drills, workouts, and masterclass integration
• engagement prompts and discussion frameworks

The goal was to create a platform where members could consistently improve their game while learning directly from a top professional player.

* The Shift

With a structured platform in place, the community quickly gained momentum.

Members now had a clear path to learn, practice, and engage with other competitive players. The training resources felt organized and intentional rather than ad hoc.

What began as a small experiment became a legitimate product offering.

* The Outcome

In the first three months after launch, the community grew from 24 paying members to more than 200.

Membership pricing increased from $35 per month to $65 per month, reflecting the value of the structured training experience.

Today the platform serves as a central hub for Hayden’s coaching, content, and community engagement.

If you're ready to build a brand that reflects the strength of your work, the next step is clarity.
